Draft Hole (Air Hole): Dead center of the chamber and flush with the chamber bottom.

 

Chamber Reaming: Very well reamed and quite symmetrical.

Flaws: A few very small pits in various places.

 

Score: 7/10

 

Comment: I own a Buckingham of this quality myself and it really smokes beautifully. I could have called the briar quality "Very Good," but I left it at "Good" because the cross cut could have been better and there are a few small pits. A very nice English estate pipe.
