Draft Hole (Air Hole): Dead center in the chamber and flush with the chamber floor.

 

Chamber Cleanliness: Very well reamed and quite symmetrical.

 

Condition: 6/10

 

Flaws: Assorted pits on the left of the chamber and in a few other spots. Apart from that, a trouble-free pipe.

 

Score: 5/10

 

Comment: I called the briar quality "Good" but it is really "Not bad". In other words, neither "bad" nor "good". A pipe with quite sound engineering. Apart from a few cosmetic issues it has no other faults. An estate pipe that is especially well suited to the beginner stage.
