We are looking at a pipe from the factory of the Danish master Georg Jensen. Although "Jen Briar" is generally considered a sub-brand of Georg Jensen, there are no dramatic differences.

 

Shank: Has begun to darken slightly.

 

Draft Hole (Air Hole): Dead center in the chamber, but not flush with the chamber floor. 

 

Chamber Cleanliness: Very well reamed, but there is a symmetry problem.

 

Condition: 7/10

 

Flaws: Issues with the air hole and the symmetry.

Comment: Gerog Jensen - Jen Briar - GIGANT - Denmark Estate PipeDespite its problems, a striking pipe. I would recommend it to someone who can handle it or who wants to be seriously challenged, because this pipe teaches you well. I think there will be a gurgling problem, as the chamber is quite deep. It can, however, be remedied with a good cake layer.
