Brand: Hardcastle - Special De Luxe 

 

The brand was founded in 1908 by Edmund Hardcastle and quickly gained considerable fame. In 1936 the family sold 49% of the shares of Hardcastle Pipes Limited to Dunhill. In 1946 Hardcastle became a wholly owned Dunhill subsidiary.

 

Shank: Has begun to darken slightly, but is white in places.

 

Draft Hole (Air Hole): Dead center in the chamber and flush with the chamber floor.

 

Chamber Cleanliness: Very well reamed and quite symmetrical.

 

Condition: 7/10
