Radford's 706 - German Estate Pipe

It is actually the house brand of the tobacco company Pöschl Tabak Co. and is made by Chacom. 

 

Shank: Slightly darkened and very clean.

 

Draft Hole (Air Hole): Dead center in the chamber, but not perfectly flush. There is a gap of about a millimeter. It does not affect the smoke.

 

Chamber Cleanliness: Very well reamed and quite symmetrical.

 

Condition: 7/10

 

Flaws: The millimeter gap at the draft hole.

 

Score: 7/10

 

Comment: Apart from the millimeter gap at the draft hole it has no faults. Although this is not an issue that will affect the smoke, care should be taken smoking down to the bottom. A very attractive and handsome pipe. I think the Radford's 706 - German Estate Pipe is ideal, especially for the beginner level.
