Brand: Elba Bruyere | Italian Estate Pipe
Although we know that Elba Bruyere is an Italian brand, no detailed brand history could be found on pipedia.com or other sources. However, many collectors praise the craftsmanship and quality of the briar.

Draft Hole (Airway): Drilled cleanly, flush to the center of the chamber floor — exactly as it should be.
Shank: No tar or carbon buildup present, though the wood has darkened, indicating long-term use.
Chamber Cleaning: Very successful. The cake has been carefully removed, leaving a smooth surface. Toward the chamber floor, however, slight asymmetries in the bowl walls can be observed.
Flaws: During restoration, a small amount of polish has run from the rim into the chamber. This will fade with use and is not a significant issue. The stem shows fairly pronounced tooth marks.
Score: 4/10
Commentary: Because of the rustication, it is difficult to judge the quality of the briar from the chamber walls. The chamber itself is quite large, making it ideal for long smoking sessions. The subtle asymmetry near the bottom (only a matter of millimeters) might, in theory, cause some moisture buildup, though the difference is so minimal that it may not have any real effect.
Note: Any pipe without a developed cake layer will tend to heat up unless smoked at a very slow and consistent pace. Therefore, heating should not be considered a fault in pipes without cake.
