Records indicate the "m" letter on the stem is a precursor to the round dot used later, and it also appears on the Mauro sub-brand. After the death of Mauro Armellini (1936–2004), the brand was carried on by his daughter Vilma Armellini. Its second-grade brands are Mauro and Converti.
