Billiard
The Billiard is the straight shape considered the benchmark of classic pipe shapes, with its near-cylindrical bowl and balanced proportions; it's found in nearly every manufacturer's catalog.
Bulldog and Rhodesian
A pair of classic pipe shapes recognizable at first glance, with a body resembling two cones set base to base and a beadline; a diamond-section shank is generally taken as Bulldog, a round one as Rhodesian.
Cavalier
A rare shape whose shank extends down beneath the bowl, collecting moisture through a removable cap at the end and letting the pipe stand upright on a table.
Churchwarden
Churchwarden is a pipe type in which the bowl shape is left open but the mouthpiece is kept unusually long. The long stem lets the smoke cool before reaching the mouth.
