Christopher Brunton began selling his pipes in 2008 while still living in Austria, moving back to the US (Carmichael, California) later that year to take up pipemaking full-time. The stamp consists of the letter "C" and a two-digit number giving the year of manufacture; records indicate a signature was added from around 2010 onward.
