Maker Michael V. Kabik began making pipes in the early 1970s and stopped in 1989-90. The brand name comes from Chuck Holiday, who left the workshop in 1971, with Kabik taking his place. The workshop closed in 1973; Kabik later produced the Sven-Lar brand together with Glen Hedelson.
