Hungarian-born maker Julius Vesz produced two series: Hand Cut, entirely handworked and using very old briar, and Hand Made, smaller and plainer. Grades run in ascending order from 3-9 then A-D for Hand Cut, and 2-4 for Hand Made. The abbreviation GKCPC in the stamp denotes the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club; for the maker's early stamp, see Craft.
