A briar pipe with a removable meerschaum bowl liner; its period is 1947-1955. Pipes of the Flame Grain grade with a meerschaum-inlaid bowl appear in Kaywoodie's 1947 catalog. The inlay was originally made of solid Turkish meerschaum.
