The brand belongs to Leonard's Pipe Shop, opened by Arthur Leonard in 1936 and closed in 1989. The logo depicts the twin air channels bored into the stem; for pipes using the same solution, see Beau Nash, Grand Master, Kaywoodie Allbriar, Durobit, Radice, Siam, and Twin Bore. Records indicate pipes stamped "Dover De Luxe" are Comoy's or GBD production; see also the Leonard's entry for Sasieni's second brand.
