The brand was founded in 1972 by Giancarlo Guidi, who left in 1982 to join Ser Jacopo; in 1995 the brand passed to Alberto Montini. A sun emblem is used for grading; second-quality names are Calibano and Montini. Mario Lubinski handled the brand's distribution from 1972 to 1980.
