The maker Oliver Brandt is the father of Max Brandt, who uses the MB stamp; his own pipes carry the "Olive" stamp, while the "Brandy" series is a joint production of father and son. Grading on "Olive" and "MB" pipes runs, in ascending order, AA, EX1 through EX12, Artline, and the rarely seen Rune. In the "Brandy" series, grades are numbered from 1 to 12.
