According to Wilczak and Colwell's study, Osma may be a brand of the French company La Bruyère; given the company's history, the English hallmarks on the band do not contradict this possibility. The "RJ" within the oval is a silversmith's mark (recorded as Reuben Jordan), while the letter [g] is the London Assay Office's date letter for the year 1922.
