The workshop's annual output is roughly 500 pipes; pipes are not always stamped with a production year or with Ulf's or Per's signature. Grading for the European market runs in ascending order Black blast, Tan blast, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, and the very rare D; pipes bound for the US market are not graded, instead carrying a code giving the production year and sequence (e.g., 9736: the 36th pipe made in 1997). In 1984 the "Copenhagen" stamp was discontinued and replaced by the word "København."
