The maker of the brand is Bård (Baard) Hansen, who works in Bergen, Norway; he does not put a logo on the stems of his own Tabago pipes. Pipes stamped "Tabago Handmade in Denmark" instead belong to a former Stanwell employee who produced briefly in the 1970s.
