Vox Pop is one of the brands of the Penn Tobacco Company, founded in 1901 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, by Russell Uhl (d. 1914) and Henry Weigand (d. 1942). The company had four pipe lines: Bruce Peters, Silver Mac Duff, Vox Pop, and Broadcaster. The pipes were made for Penn by Henry Leonard & Thomas, and were sold only through coupons from the company's tobacco packages.
