Caledonian Melange No.466 Grand Reserve is an English-style blend belonging to the Caledonian line of Alfred & Christian Petersen, a firm founded in 1865 in Horsens, Denmark. It was sold in green tins as a thick-cut mixture built from Latakia, Virginia, and Oriental leaf.
The blend hasn't been produced for a long time; sealed tins today change hands in collector circles. With the firm's takeover by Orlik in 2000, this member of the Caledonian line was dropped from the catalog. It's referred to as an unflavored entry representing the classic Latakia-forward English style.
