Captain Spice

Captain Spice is Abenaki Tobacco's entry on the spicy-aromatics side. Per the maker's recipe, it's entirely black leaf processed with the "Century Black Cavendish" method; cinnamon and nutmeg are applied over it. The spice flavoring is pronounced, pushing the tobacco taste into the background.

The black Cavendish base is a process known for high sugar and low tongue bite; so the blend stays mellow and round in the mouth, with a measured nicotine load. It's built for those looking for a spicy aromatic in the cold months and those new to aromatics. Abenaki Tobacco was based in Conway, New Hampshire; since its own sales site is no longer live, the blend's current production status is unclear.
