Cherokee

Cherokee is among Abenaki Tobacco's base aromatics. Per the maker's recipe, selected Green River Burley is combined with black Cavendish, with a light vanilla flavoring applied over it. The flavoring level is kept low; though the blend is counted in the aromatic class, the leaf's own taste stays noticeably present.

A balanced structure is built between the dry, nutty base from the Burley and the Cavendish's sweetness. It's a middle option for smokers avoiding heavily syruped aromatics but also finding fully unflavored blends flat. Abenaki Tobacco was a small maker based in Conway, New Hampshire; its own sales site is no longer live today.
