Seaport Rum

Seaport Rum is a rum-flavored blend from Abenaki Tobacco Co., a family business based in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire, US. It's a dark brown ribbon cut. At the base is grassy, citrusy golden Virginia; nutty, molasses-sweet Burley edges slightly ahead in proportion. Since both leaves are processed in the Cavendish manner, they carry a drier, lightly toasted character than the usual Cavendish sweetness.

Two separate rum flavorings are noted as being used; these bring forward sweetness and a light spice note, softening the leaf's own sharpness. It burns cool and clean, changing little in taste throughout, and nicotine is low. It's a blend aimed at those looking for a non-heavy, sweet aromatic they can smoke all day.
