Vanilla (Sungold)

Alsbo's vanilla blend has over time also been sold under the names Sungold and Morning. It's made by combining bright, mellow Virginia leaf with very light black Cavendish and flavoring it with vanilla.

The vanilla note is pronounced; even so, the tobacco's own taste comes through more clearly past the middle of the bowl, and the smoke moves toward a warm sweetness reminiscent of fire-toasted marshmallow. Strength is low. It suits those looking for a classic vanilla aromatic as well as pipe beginners.
