Burley

Amphora Burley is a semi-aromatic Burley blend in the Dutch-origin Amphora brand's line, carried on today by Mac Baren. Alongside Burley it contains Kentucky and Virginia; its cut is ready rubbed, meaning it looks like broken flake. The color is medium-to-dark brown, and though it looks dry on the outside, the leaf retains its internal moisture. In the pack scent, the Amphora line's base topping — sugary, with fruit and fruit-brandy notes — stands out; after airing, chocolate and hazelnut notes become more apparent.
