Duo

Duo takes its name from the equal meeting of two tobaccos: Burley grown in Argentina and local criollo leaf. This pairing gives a nutty, earthy body rather than a dried-fruit one; the coffee touch added over it deepens the taste more than sweetening it. The cut is ribbon, distributed in 50-gram pouches.

The blend is built entirely from Argentine tobaccos, so instead of the lemony sweetness of Virginia-heavy blends, Burley's dry, bready character dominates. It carries flavoring, but in a measured way; it suits smokers avoiding heavily syruped aromatics who also don't want a completely unflavored tobacco.
