Clasico

Clasico is an unflavored English mixture blended at Scandinavian Tobacco Group under the Italian pipe brand Baraccini. Turkish-Oriental leaf and a measured amount of Latakia are added to a Virginia base. Since the Latakia share is deliberately kept low, the smoky note doesn't coat the palate, leaving the Oriental's spicy-tangy tone and Virginia's sweetness up front.

Body is light-to-medium and not tiring on nicotine. It suits smokers transitioning into English mixtures or those who find heavy Latakia blends too much; its ribbon cut makes packing easy, and the burn runs cool.
