Oriental Mixture

Oriental Mixture belongs to the tobacco line of BBB, the English pipe brand whose name comes from the abbreviation "Britain's Best Briars" and whose origins trace back to the 1860s. The blend is prepared under license in Germany by Kohlhase & Kopp; although it entered the UK market only at the end of 2015, it has long been sold in Europe and America. The composition holds high-grade Virginia leaf, Turkish-Oriental tobaccos, and a balanced share of black Cavendish, presented in a rod cut.

The Oriental leaf gives the blend a tangy, spicy edge, while the Cavendish builds a mellow, lightly sweet base; since no Latakia is used, it carries none of the smoky load of English mixtures. Body sits between light and medium, and it carries no added flavoring. It suits smokers wanting to get to know Oriental tobaccos' own character without smoke, looking for an unflavored yet mellow mixture.
