Knightsbridge

Knightsbridge is a dark English mixture prepared at Bennington Tobacconist's own counter. Rested golden Virginia ribbon-cut tobacco is combined with a notable share of Oriental leaf and high-grade Latakia. No flavoring is used; the taste comes entirely from the leaves themselves.

The high Latakia share keeps the blend on the axis of soot, tar, and leather; the Orientals add a dry spice layer, while Virginia leaves a thin sweetness underneath. Being ribbon cut, it can be packed directly and burns evenly. It suits smokers accustomed to Latakia-forward, full-bodied mixtures; it may be heavy for those unfamiliar with smoky tobaccos.
