Black Cavendish

Borkum Riff Black Cavendish is an aromatic built on dark Kentucky and cool-smoking Burley leaf with some light Virginia added, heavily coated and fermented in wooden casks. This process gives the leaf its black Cavendish color and a mellow, sweet base. Notes reminiscent of truffle, nougat, and hazelnut stand out in the topping.

Borkum Riff emerged in Sweden in the 1960s and is now produced in Denmark under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group umbrella. This blend suits smokers looking for a nuttier, sweeter direction than heavily fruited aromatics, wanting a medium-to-light-bodied everyday tobacco.
