Limited Edition 11 Mixture with Trinidad Rum

This is a limited-run blend Borkum Riff released in 2013. Its base holds red- and mahogany-toned Virginias along with dark black Cavendish, joined by some Burley and fire-cured leaf, topped off with Trinidad rum and fruit flavoring. The fire-cured leaf gives the blend a drier, smokier backbone compared to the brand's usual aromatics.

Borkum Riff launched in Sweden in 1962, taking its name from a lighthouse in the North Sea; the blends, originally produced for Swedish Match, are now prepared in Denmark under Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Being a limited run, it's not currently available on the market. It suits smokers who like rum-flavored aromatics but don't want an entirely sugary smoke, accustomed to medium-bodied blends.
