Mixture with Licorice/Indigo

The blend is a coarse, evenly cut mixture whose weight comes mainly from fermented black Cavendish sourced from Africa and South America, joined by Brazilian Virginia. It's flavored with real licorice root and a sambuca-style aniseed liqueur aroma, so the licorice-anise pairing dominates both the taste and the smell.

Following a change in EU tobacco regulation, the product is sold within the Union under the name "Borkum Riff Indigo." Production takes place at Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Orlik factory in Assens, Denmark. It suits smokers looking for a pronounced, single-direction, sweet flavor with an affinity for licorice.
