Scandinavian Mixture is a ribbon-cut Borkum Riff blend built on Virginia and Burley. Records suggest it carries a nutty flavor line close to cocoa; its flavoring is much more restrained than the brand's fruited versions, letting the leaf's taste come through.

Borkum Riff launched in Sweden in 1962, taking its name from a lighthouse in the North Sea; the blends, originally produced for Swedish Match, are now prepared in Denmark under Scandinavian Tobacco Group. This version appeared in the brand's 2000s listings and was later withdrawn from wide distribution. It suits smokers looking for a faintly flavored, balanced, medium-light everyday blend.
