2016's Value Flake

Value Flake is one of the products Bosphorus introduced in 2016. It is built from red Virginia, Oriental, burley and perique leaf, and due to the special fermentation method applied, nearly all the slices come out nearly black. It is pressed into flake form; since it is moist as it comes out of the tin, airing it for a day or two before filling reduces wetness and clogging.

Perique's spicy intensity and the fullness burley gives determine the blend's strength; yet the Oriental and Virginia taste, along with the light bitterness and spice characteristic of Turkish tobaccos, stays distinguishable. The smoke is cool and sweet, and this sweetness does not mask the tobacco taste. Suitable for smokers seeking Perique and a strong blend, wanting a full fill later in the day.
