Currant is a ribbon-cut aromatic prepared using Çanakkale and Samsun tobaccos with cavendish, flavored with black-currant aroma. Its strength and flavor are medium.

Per records the product has been discontinued; today it can only be encountered in old stock. It stands as one of the early examples of domestically produced fruit-flavored blends.
