English Mixture

Bosphorus English Mixture is a ribbon-cut English mixture where Turkish tobaccos are added to a Virginia and Cyprus Latakia base. In the blend's first release, a light whiskey aroma accompanied the Virginia, Turkish tobaccos and Latakia; the recipe was completely reworked in 2016. In the new version the Latakia proportion is kept around 30%, burley is not used, and additions such as flavored cavendish are not included.

Strength is between light and medium, flavor between medium and intense; it gives a cool smoke at a slow pace. Its moisture level is ready for direct filling, and the smoke becomes cooler when rested. Suited to smokers who want Latakia in moderation and want to experience Turkish tobacco's spicy sweetness together with Latakia, and to those new to Latakia blends.
