Master & Grasshoppers

Master & Grasshoppers is a ribbon-cut English mixture built from Cyprus Latakia, golden Virginia and black cavendish, matured and fermented in an oak barrel. Notes reminiscent of whiskey and light molasses from the barrel aging accompany the blend; Latakia carries a smoky, grassy, woody taste while Virginia adds a lightly spicy sweetness. The flavoring level is low and does not mask the tobacco's own taste.

Strength is medium, flavor between medium and above-medium. Per records it does not require a long airing before smoking; no tongue bite or excess-moisture issues are reported. Suited to smokers seeking a lightly flavored Latakia blend rather than an Oriental-forward classic English mixture.
