Apple Strudel is an aromatic blend prepared by J. M. Boswell in 2006 at the Boswell workshop in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Per the manufacturer's description, a small amount of vanilla is added over a light apple aroma; the product was developed for customers wanting a soft apple blend.
The casing, sitting on a soft, cavendish-forward base, leads throughout the smoke; nicotine level is low, the smoke cool. Suitable for smokers accustomed to aromatic blends wanting a pronounced but not sharp apple note. The casing's intensity is at a level some smoking notes find overly sweet.
