English (Mixture No. 80)

English Mixture No. 80, in Italian manufacturer Brebbia's numbered blend series, is an English mixture built from small-leaf Syrian Latakia, matured spicy burley and bright Virginia leaf. Its cut is ribbon; the blend's identity is set largely by Latakia, burley carries the body and medium strength, while Virginia stays in the background. Per records it carries a very light anise touch.

With Syrian Latakia's withdrawal from the market, this mixture was dropped from the catalog and replaced by Serenata (Mixture No. 28). It was aimed at smokers seeking a resinous, smoky Latakia profile and enjoying a traditional English mix with almost no perceptible flavor casing.
