Bacon Old Fashioned is an aromatic blend Tennessee-based BriarWorks built starting from the cocktail of the same name. Its base holds burley, virginia and black cavendish; a bourbon-and-citrus-based casing is applied on top. What sets the blend apart is hickory-smoked, fire-cured Kentucky leaf added to answer the smoke and salt sense of the cocktail recipe.
In the smoke, orange, a salty smoke reminiscent of smoked bacon, and a lightly alcoholic sweetness intertwine. The body is medium. Suitable for smokers wanting to step outside classic fruit aromatics and try smoky, salty tones in an aromatic frame.
