Pete's Beard's Blend

Pete's Beard's Blend is the ribbon-cut blend in BriarWorks's English-mixture line. It is made by pairing light Virginias with smoky Latakia and is offered in a two-ounce glass jar.

Since the Latakia share is not kept heavy, the smoke gives a measured woody layer instead of dense smokiness; the Virginias form a lightly sweet base underneath. The body is medium, flavor medium-to-full; a balance suited for smoking throughout the day is the aim. A blend aimed at those who don't want the intensity of heavily Latakia-laden mixtures but still want to preserve an English character.
