Sweet Tea

Sweet Tea is a lightly flavored blend in BriarWorks's line evoking the American South. Sweet Virginias, black cavendish and Oriental leaf are brought together; a fine flavoring evoking sugared tea is applied on top.

Oriental leaf gives the blend a dry, lightly grassy edge and keeps the casing from becoming dominant on its own. Black cavendish carries the sweetness while the Virginias form a bright base. The body is medium, flavor medium-to-full. Worth considering for those who don't want the syrupy intensity of heavy aromatics but still seek a sweet profile; offered in a two-ounce glass jar.
