Acadian Blend

Acadian Blend is an unflavored Virginia-Perique blend in Canadian brand Brigham's Legend series. It consists of light and medium-brown Virginia leaves combined with a high proportion of perique, offered as a fine shag cut in a 50-gram tin. Per records, the same blend was previously sold in the Mr. B's line under the name Tudor Mixture, with only the label changing.

The Virginias give a grassy, earthy, tart fruit taste, while perique adds a spicy layer reminiscent of fig and plum. Nicotine stays between light and medium, and the smoke runs balanced. Suitable for Virginia fans seeking a Latakia-free alternative; being a shag cut, it needs a loose fill and a slow smoke.
