English Mixture

English Mixture, offered by Brigham under its Mr. B's umbrella, is a traditional English-style mixture made up of a combination of red Virginia, Turkish (Oriental) leaf, burley, Latakia and perique. Per the manufacturer's description, the blend stays in the medium-strength band on the English-mixture scale; Latakia is not dominant, used instead as a component that frames Virginia's sweetness and the Oriental's dry spice. The small addition of perique adds a light fruity-peppery edge to the flavor.

Since the cut is ribbon, filling and lighting the pipe is easy; this makes it suitable both for those new to Latakia blends and for those seeking a balanced English blend for everyday smoking.
