Muskoka Mixture

Muskoka Mixture is a Latakia blend combining Cyprus Latakia with American-grown Virginia leaf. Per the manufacturer's description, softer grades of Latakia are selected; a small amount of Brazilian-origin dark sun-cured leaf is also added to the blend to pull it in a lighter direction.

This structure preserves Latakia's smoky-woody character while limiting its weight; it appeals to experienced smokers while staying accessible to those newer to Latakia. It takes its name from Ontario's Muskoka lake region, and the manufacturer notes that the mixture comes into its own when smoked outdoors.
