Solitude

Solitude is a black-cavendish-forward aromatic in the Mr. B's series. Select Virginia and burley leaves undergo a heat treatment and are cured in bulk for a week; this process lowers the leaf's natural sharpness, giving a very soft, low-nicotine smoke. A sweet vanilla flavoring is applied on top.

Because of low nicotine and a soft smoke, it is suited to long, calm smoking sessions and to those new to the pipe. The ribbon cut makes filling easy; since the cavendish proportion is high, care must be taken that the tobacco does not stay too moist.
