Bugler is a brand that launched in the United States in 1932, known for many years for its roll-your-own tobacco; per records, Lane Limited, which runs the brand, joined the Scandinavian Tobacco Group in 2011. Blue is the base blend in the brand's pipe tobacco line, built on combining long-fiber light-colored Virginia leaf with dark, mahogany-toned Burley. The cut is wide ribbon, and because the tobacco's moisture is kept low it catches quickly once loaded into the pipe.
