Latakia No.2 is the full-bodied English mixture in Butera's Royal Vintage line. Cyprus Latakia, Turkish and other Oriental leaf are brought together with matured red and orange virginias; a small amount of toasted Carolina leaf is added to give the flavor a nutty softness. The blend is cut in ribbon form.
Compared to the line's first blend, the Latakia share here is more pronounced, so the smoke comes to the fore; the virginias form a sweet base in the background. The body is full. Suitable for those who want classic English mixtures in their smoky, satisfying form.
