Calume Kiowa-Cut

The Calume line is, per records, a pipe tobacco range introduced to the German market at the end of 2008, taking its name from the Native American peace pipe (calumet). Kiowa-Cut is the line's wide, long-cut member; bright Virginia is combined with black, flavored Cavendish. It is sold in 50-gram pouches and 100-gram tins.

The defining feature of the blend is a pine-resin flavoring evoking the forest; Virginia's sweetness is softened by the lightly cased, toasted Cavendish. With balanced moisture it fills easily, burns cool, and keeps burning without biting the tongue. Nicotine is low. Aimed at smokers seeking a distinctive but not heavy aroma outside the classic fruit-vanilla mold.
