Carolina Rose

Carolina Rose is known for the single blend bearing its name, an aromatic tobacco sold in an ornate 100-gram tin. Virginia, Burley, black Cavendish and Oriental leaf are used together in its content; the cut sits between broken slice and wide ribbon, and multiple leaf colors are visible in the tin — an appearance unusual for aromatic tobaccos.

The tin aroma combines fruity cherry with floral rose tones; in the smoke the aroma stays fainter than in the tin. Nicotine is low, flavor intensity light. Because of its moisture content and sliced structure it can be hard to light, and needs to be rubbed out and aired. The presence of Oriental leaf adds a light dry spice to the base.
